    Flexible Payment Plans

    The NBO Gold Credit Card offers you the best credit line, enhancing your financial flexibility and control. You have the option to plan your payments through the powerful Revolving Credit facility by paying as little as 5% of the outstanding every month. You choose how much of the balance you pay. You can even pay the entire amount - whatever is most convenient for you.

    Cash Access, Any Time

    With NBO Gold Credit Cards, you are entitled to withdraw emergency cash up to 100% of your credit line* from over 600,000 ATMs worldwide. The NBO Gold Credit Card is encoded with a secret PIN (Personal Identification Number) which is automatically generated and known only to you.
    * Cash Advance limit can vary based on the geography where the card is issued.

    Temporary Credit Line Increase

    The credit line on your NBO Gold Credit Card can be increased for three months to enable you to buy jewellery, consumer durables like a TV or refrigerator, or to pay for your vehicle repairs. You can also use this unique facility for anniversaries, weddings, birthdays or when a business trip or holiday goes beyond your budget. The credit line increase is subject to maintaining a good rating with the bank.

    3. Submit it to your branch or your NBO Relationship Manager

    Plan 1: Against a salary of RO 450 and above
    Plan 2: Against a deposit of RO 500 and above
    Plan 3: Against a cheque for 120% of the applied limit.

    The following documents will be required to apply for a NBO Gold Credit Card:

    • Plan 1
      Against a salary transfer:
      • Copy of the passport
      • Salary certificate
      • Salary assignment letter
      • Account opening form
      • Credit card application form
        Interest per month if 100% not paid - 1.5%
    • Plan 2
      Against a deposit
      • Deposit in the bank which earns interest and against the deposit a credit card can be taken. Currency available - RO/US$/Pound sterling/UAE dirhams
      • A standard letter from the bank placing the deposit on lien
      • 90% of the deposit amount will be given as the credit limit if deposit is in Rial Omani
      • 80% of the deposit amount will be given as the credit limit if deposit is in any other currency
      • Account opening form
      • Credit card application form
        Interest per month if 100% not paid - 1.5%
    • Plan 3
      Without a salary transfer
      • Bank statement for 6 months
      • Undated cheque for 120% of the applied credit limit
      • Copy of the passport
      • Salary certificate
        Interest per month if 100% not paid - 2%

    Important Information about your Cash Back Plan on Credit cards

    Enjoy yourself this summer with greetings of National Bank of Oman. For the first time ever we are giving you the chance to redeem all your Cash Back points without any minimum number of points required. 

    To claim simply visit one of our branches or call our Call center and redeem your Cash Back points for cash. This offer applies to all our credit card holders except Oman Air Co brand cards where accumulated points can be redeemed for Oman Air Miles.

    What’s happening

    1.From Midnight on June 25th No new Cash Back points will be earned as we look to close down the program before introducing the new plan later on in the year.

    2.You can redeem your existing Cash Back points until Midnight on Thursday September 22nd 2011

    3.After this date all points not redeemed will be cancelled

    2.Call us on Tel 80077077

    Once processed your cash will be credited to your credit card account by the 25th of the next month
